The Vishuddha Chakra is commonly known as the Throat Chakra, and is the communication energy body. This Chakra serves as a bridge between the physical world and spiritual realm. When thinking of higher vibrations and communication; take into consideration our words communicate with the universe via vibration of our vocal cords, and output of energy. A person with a clear unblocked throat chakra has the ability to speak their truth and strongly communicate. If a person is unclear of their identity, they may also be unclear in their truth. A blockage in this area can hinder higher elevation and awareness.
The social integration practices of assimilation discussed in the chakra chat V-blog; add an additional layer of identity complexity within the black community. Described as a double subconscious veil by sociologist W.E.B Dubois. Living the life of assimilation can lead to an unbalanced Vishuddha Chakra. This is especially important because this also can lead to misalignment and poor communication with the Third Eye Chakra. If a person has issues knowing who they are, they will likely also have issues listening to intuition and trusting its accuracy. The in-depthless of the blockage can continually expand and spread as a generational blockage within the black culture.
As a community we can be mindful of the affects of assimilation, and re-ground ourselves with black culture appreciation. Open none judgmental community dialogue regarding acceptance, love, and valuing each other is a step in the right direction of healing cultural blockages.
As individuals we can use meditation with focus of self love and healing to bring internal peace and harmony to the soul. Discovering who we are as individuals while embracing our light, strengthens the ability to speak and live as your most authentic self.
